Literary meeting - Afrocritique

On the occasion of the publication of his new work Afrocritique, essay on the infrapolitics of black struggles, we are pleased to invite you to a literary meeting with its author, Aymar Nyenyezi Bisoka.

This essay explores the major challenges that are shaking our times and endangering our living together. Professor Bisoka raises crucial questions: why are Euro-Western powers struggling to offer satisfactory answers to the main crises of our time? How can we explain that some lives are deemed worthy of protection while others, often because of race, are devalued? What lessons can we learn from care practices within Black communities, which struggle to care for precarious lives and lifeless bodies?

Drawing on the voices of the South, particularly those of Blacks and Africans, Professor Bisoka offers new thinking on building a decolonial future. Come and discuss with the author to deepen this engaged reading, which re-examines the problem of the Euro-Western political community through the prism of black struggles.
